The first kind is pretty easy to find. Just hire some hot model, have her post nude pictures every once in a while, and you'll get more than enough attention.
The second type is pretty hard to find though. Most sales reps know nothing about the programs they work for, and are therefore utterly useless to affiliates. They just come up with generic answers when asked on ways to convert better.
In my opinion, if you're going for a type 2 rep, you might want to try giving that person a free site/tgp to manage for your program that purely promotes your sites. That way they learn a bit about what converts with your sites and what does not, and in practice instead of in theory.
Otherwise, go for someone with a shitload of experience, that also pays off in the long run.Comment

Though still my personal choice would be to go with a company that has a hard working team and is smart and willing to work with me on any issue I may have. Though your point is if that program doesn't take off for me I am very likely to remember the woman who showed her breast on the board because it left a lasting impression in my head.
