Sly you have to remember though, in Canada their education is highly subsidized, it only costs around 100k for the 8 years of med school. Still an insane time commitment for the potential return. Not much worse than a teacher though, they go to school for 4 years and earn 40k a year and have to deal with our screaming brats all day.
