You may not have given him permission, but it would be a wast of time to do anything about that. You did give him a photo, while trying to do business.

Like someone said, when he asked for a photo, you should have shut him off.
There are tons of articles about hosting, that people have taken time to write. If you really want to be in this business, and make it, then start reading.
And learn when is the right time to give out a photo of your self.
