    Walt Disney's Power Trip

Last night at the "sneak preview" for a new Walt Disney movie

    (1) I was searched by a security guard with a metal detector
    (2) Required to check in my cell phone at the front desk....[The metal detector would pick up on it if I tried to sneak it in]
    (3) Allow patrolling ushers to shine their light in the crowd throughout the movie.
    (4) Deal with some strange red dot that keep apearring on the screen every ten minutes.

....plus they want my honest opinion on the flick so they can compensate for they weak scripts?

    fuck the mouse.

They were testing out their newest subliminal marketing technique and wanted to make sure the audience didn't include any feds.

All Disney is trying to do is stop piracy of their movies. You may have not been shooting a cam/telesync version of their movie that night but don't think for a moment that others were not trying.

Might be a way for them to determine from which showing the movie was ripped, maybe each preview has a different color mark?
Or maybe, some kind of beam that fucks up the image if it is filmed?

the red dot is probably to fuck up the sensors of the cams in case somebody snuck one in somehow.

                    My point is:
being part of a test audience allows the studio to alter script lines/ect based on a real market audience reaction. This is a service to Disney. They smile when they ask questions about my opinion on the movie/script/ect, but treat me like a criminal upon entrance.... If they are worried about piracy, playing the movie to a test audience should be not be an option.

                      Simply looking after their investment.

I dig Walt Disney ... any company that is boycotted by Christians must be doing something right and is worth two in my books

(Funny how sales went up during the boycott.)
