SanTorini... If you want peace stay in the city on the south shore (cant remember the name) there is a hotel on the way up to the towering cliffside to the north of the city.. you get the BEST view ever from that hotel... and you have peace at night

Planes to Heraklion leave many times a day from all major EU cities. Cheap and save, travel to hotels in less then 2 hrs, they have one other airport as well Chania (mil as well).

Santorini is amazing, you can take a boat from Crete, 4 hrs or 2 on the speedy one. A good few years ago I spent 3 weeks doing this. Started in Crete, then did something like, Santorini, Paros, Naxos, Athens, back to Naxos, Kos, Rhodes and then back to Crete. All great places. We tried to get over night ferries for the longer trips where possible. Thomas Cook used to publish the Greek Island Hopping Guide but I am not sure if they do it anymore. There will be equivalents though. Just try and get this years as it will have ferry timetables etc in it..Comment

Crete is my favourite island plus as previously mentioned you can get the boat to Santorini (city is Fira btw). Im not so keen on Corfu despite having been there twice lol. I personally preferred the west of the island and you can try a day trip to Albania if you fancy something out of the ordinary and visit the ruins of Butrint.
If you want to get laid then all the British scum go to Kavos on Corfu and Zakynthos is up and coming for louts and slags. However if you are holidaying, pretty much anywhere should get you laid. If you are more into the cock then try Mykonos.Comment
