The one a few weeks ago...good thing I had go back installed and removed it for me..I'm skeptical cause all the experts are saying to wait a few weeks after the release.

spunky1, you are a weirdo. Only conflict i've had with SP2 so far is with BootSkin, and they said it on their compatibility page. ps: Pirated copies CAN use SP2.

The release candidate versions will not allow pirated copies, they require the PID of 642 or something like that. The version in windows update is different. Check the compatibility page they have about 25 programs that cause problems, I only used one of them and uninstalled it before rebooting.

Ah..that's probably it...I didn't check the compatibility page...haven't heard from Hoax after he installed it
Ok installed it on my second pc
The pc now seems a lot slower on boot up
My exit popup on one of my sites no longer works.
I did read the info on the popup blocker ?built into xp2? and it says it will display an info bar with the option to see the popup, however there is no info bar in IE, typical Microsoft
Anyway have work to do.
Cheers

Click TOOLS for the pop-up blocker genius. Yeah it was slow to boot up for me. I'm sure it was just a first time thing considering the size of the update 75 MB for me.
"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

lol, settle down genius. There IS an "information bar" that pops down from the top, it is yellow. There is also additions in the status bar at the bottom right.

I'm replying to a thread on a Win 98 PIII 600 because SP2 killed my computer.
I was getting an error saying that it couldn't connect to the network (Connecting through WAN miniport, redial..., etc) , and a helpful message telling me that either my ISP is down or that I had supplied the wrong information.
Fuck that. I uninstalled, still no dice.
System restored to a point right before the "update". Just finished. Looks like it might work now. Be back in a minute (maybe)

So your network not working means your computer was "killed"? You use dial-up? Try re-installing the drivers for the NIC/modem?
