I had to have an emergency c-section almost 7 months ago...6 days in the hospital, they induced the labor...slowly and I pushed for 1 1/2 hrs! Baby's head was big 13 inches, I'm pretty small, he got stuck, they tried everything!
I was freaking, but not in pain! They rushed me to OR and started cutting, and I freaked again (I could feel the knife cut) they put me under, made my man leave!
Bottom line, it was no biggie at all, so please tell your wife...not to stress at all, they will do anything and everything to make sure baby is fine.
It wasn't the easiest delivery, but baby is happy, healthy and know wieghts 22 pounds, LOL! He is a big boy!
Looking back...I would do it all over, baby was in danger...I would have even taken the knife cut with the pain! He is so worth it!
