    Anyone else sick of explaining G W Bush?

    I live in Brasil and I get sick of meeting tourists or the locals constantly asking how we elected the guy not once but twice.

    I did not vote for him and have almost zero friends who did. I do not know how he got elected.

      Its a good cop bad cop thing we have been doign since the beginning.

      Republican President = We get War's, Higher interest rates run away pil prices
      Democrat President = No War's, Growing government infrastructure, increased taxes.

      I say keep going Republican I can care less who the fuck the powers that be want to kill.
      As long as I do not have to pay higher taxes.

          Historically Republicans out spend Democrats on a huge level. They just don't raise the taxes to support and leave it for the next guy. See G Bush 1.

                              There are a number of people that think the world of George Bush. May be hard for people here to believe, but true. Starts with tax cuts that really need to be made permanent. Some believe the war in Iraq is and was necessary. Some also believe (me for example) that there were really weapons of mass distruction in Iraq.

                                          I find it harder to explain why we let him continue, maybe we just like to hear ourselves complain but when it comes down to actually anything that takes an effort, we back off. Would explain the whole fat and lack of education thing too.

                                              have you pulled out your tax returns and see if there is truly any tax increase to worth speaking of? Im not picking on you but most who use the I dont want to pay higher taxes they arent in a bracket that it really affects them one way or another.
