As a rule I try not to eat anything with the name "dumpling" attached to it. Sounds too much like "small turd" for my liking.
There must be a better name to them than that. What about potsticker? There can't be that big of a difference between dumplings and potstickers, can there?
You can name them anything you want, they are actually quite good and if calling them a potsticker makes ya feel better go on ahead! Course there is quite a difference.
I was thinking chicken and dumplings, rather chicken stew with dumplings. It really is good and I havent made it in a long time, I seem to be on a cooking kick this last week. I don't cook alot anymore but I go through spurts, the last two weeks (since returning from Florida) I've made all kinds of stuff.
I tried to make lamb faitas (spelling?) and let me tell you, it was fantastic but more deserving of a bed of pasta than a tortilla! It was good though!
