If you don't do good things with your life your soul can't naturally pass on to the higher dimensions and either gets "stuck" on the physical plane without a body or instinctively reincarnates into the physical realm to go back and try again.
Once you're back in physical body format again, your universal knowledge ability is limited and restricted and past memory links get blocked.
