I hit 163 KM on the Lakes and Dan said he hit 170 KM on the Lakes

Great time, first time I went this year also, been spending the year so far in Florida.

Heading back there in 2 weeks

Just wait till one of these times when you hit a section where the ice has split and formed a nice little berm for you to run into at that speed. Now that will be a hell of a ride!

As long as its a new machine the little ice berms get soaked up in the suspension

its the big wind packed drifts that can get you air, but normally if your comfortable at those speeds over the lake a little bit of air is ok.
I like when I hit a bit of open water

I love sledding, this winter wasnt good for it though, not around here anyways, had the ATV's out most of the winter though

I had the sled out once this year and that is it. Not enough snow around here. (Southwestern ontario) My son took it out once last week when we still had a bit of snow, and he ended up rolling it and smashed the windshield.

I have it sitting outside now with the hopes someone will steal it. It's just not worth having one in my area unless you have the time to trailer them up to northern ontario.

Supposedly a storm is coming tonight though, so I still might get another chance to take it out before the season is over.

Same here. I have only been on two good rides all year. Just when the ground freezes and we get sufficient cover a series of 40 degree days roll in with rain then repeat.

Good for ice riding but overall a terrible year.
