Myself... Unless for some reason I have to parallel park in a narrow space.. I've been driving for 7 years now and still can't parallel park.. Either the front is crooked and sticking out or the back is sticking out, I can't get it all in the spot, even after 15 min!
So I usually just park far (regularly) and avoid having to parallel park and walk to my destination instead of parallel parking...
Thank God in america you don't have to parallel park in narrow spaces often because there is lots of room, but I think in Europe it's real crowded and people always have to parallel park in the big cities.Last edited by phogirl69; 08-23-2004, 02:23 PM.Comment

i live in nyc and the only way to park is parallel !!!

I always valet park if it's available.
But I am an AWESOME parallel parker! I learned on my mother's full sized Buick Estate station wagon in the late 70's parking between two grocery carts at the Winn Dixie until I got it right. I can park anything now

i'll admitt when i suck at something and parallel parking is one of them. during the day*i park it myself but if i'm out and about @ night usually there is no parking so its just easier to pay $10-20 plus tip to vallet it.Chaturbate Affiliate Support: [email protected]Comment

Park the KIA, valet the Z. I actually try and park the KIA far, far away so nobody sees me get out of it.

Most hotels where the webmaster conventions are held at charge you for it anyway

I used to do Valet here in San Diego and I will never get Valet at any hotel in San Diego! Most are young punks who think they can push the limits with a car just because it is not their car,*cough* except me*cough* I have seen kids 18+ wreck Rolls Royce, Lambo's and others fucking around while you are away! Plus if you own a junk car then they fry your clutch or worse! If you do get Valet then tip big so you can get the up front parking where you can at least see them park your car!

i fucking HATE valet parking. the last think i want is some 18 yr old punk parking my car. if i'm at a hotel that is valet only, i do one of two things:
(1) if i'm only there for dinner, i tip the guy to let me park out front for a couple of hours, and not let anyone touch the car
(2) if i'm staying there, i tip the guy enough so he allows me to park the car and pick up the car myselfwe'll miss you our friend. RIPComment

2. I am required by law to remove suicide knob to allow a valet or a mechanic etc. drive my vehicle.
3. Unloading a wheelchair where you pull up for valet is just damn near impossible (specially in Vegas unless you have a death wish).Comment

I agree, if I'm in a hurry, sure.... Sometimes I enjoy the walk.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment
