Can you put the VX1000 eye cup on the VX2100?

I think the VX2000 came with a smaller eyecup and that certainly fits on the VX2100.

Well yes... but I was asking because I was not sure if it would mess something up. I just got this today, I would feel like an ass if I broke it within 2 hours.

I was thinking someone here may of done this already.

The rubber parts won't fit alone, I would have to take off the entire part.

Haven't used or seen VX 2100 yet,VX2000 is working great to me for now;)

Why take it apart call sony and ask them. Taking it apart will void your warranty
