It was about twenty years ago that I read, between city, county, state and federal laws, we had more than 10 million ordinances and laws on the books nationally. I don't know how any country with that many ordinances and laws can truly call themselves a free country. As I stated that was about twenty years ago, I am sure that I don't want to know the current figure.

Yeah....I hope it can somehow be stopped.
The key to successfully brining in a Police State is to do it slowly bit by bit so no one notices until it's too late.
We're already seeing signs of a Police State and Fascism.
Just look at the way the FTC functions.
The FTC can sling mud at your business.......state totally false claims....and you can't even sue them because they're a government agency.
The FTC can get away with liable and slander. They can make and enforce rules on an industry that they do not understand.
