Since you asked: they are nice-looking *websites*, but they aren't blogs at all. One thing that defines a blog is interlinks with other bloggers. You don't have any real blogrolls on those. If you aren't linking to blogs, you aren't running a blog.

A huge part of making sales on blogs is getting blog traffic -- a form of traffic that is notably superior to most traffic that adult websites can get. To get it, you have to exchange links with lots and lots of actual blogs. That requires, among other thing, linking *out* to lots of actual blogs. Many link "exchanges" in the blogging world are tacit, not negotiated; you link first and hope for reciprocation.
