    Grammar Lesson - READ ME, MORONS!

    OK! Get this straight.

    Your = a possessive pronoun (e.g., your house)
    You're = a contraction (you + are) (e.g., you're an idiot)

    People, including a lot of GFY posters, get this wrong way more often than they should.

      Weird, its weird goddamnit, NOT wierd. This totally freaks me out. I think 80% of all Americans can not right the word weird correctly. How sad is that.

          Sorry Battuss but I'll have to correct you on this one - sometimes you let the anger get the best of you! "can not right the word " should be "can not write the word" & for the record 'can not' can also be written as 'cannot'

                    "should of" = "should have" or "should've"

                    Note that the correct contracted version takes exactly the same number of keystrokes as the massively annoying incorrect one, lol.

                    You've read it, you can't unread it.

                      I didn't kick their dog.
                      I kicked that dog all the way over there.
                      They're pissed at me for kicking their dog.
