I was driving home real late at night, ok the sun was coming up doing a good 45mph or so. Out of the corner of my eye my mind spots a giant greyish blue purpleish ball approaching a fence at rapid speed. My mind is telling me that I seriously need to get home, I am hallucinating.
This ball then appears to launch itself over a good sized fence and that is when I notice it was a funny colored ball with legs and me and it were on a collision course at my present speed. Hallucination or not, I was not about to test this theory. I hit my brakes and turned inward kind of toward the fence as the other side of the road was a rocky hill side. Car comes to a skiding sideways halt, and this huge thing runs toward my car. It comes to a stop right by by window (rolled down and I see no head just a ball and a neck).
I am seriously freaked about now. I must have died, I must have fallen asleep etc. I reach out to touch this feathered beast and right as my hand is close to the chest area, the damn thing has its head at an akward angle looking at me in my main windshield. Had this deranged look in its eyes, much like the photo above.
I slowly pulled away and drove home at 20mph.
Latter I come to discover that on the other side of that much to low of a fence lives a sucker who bought into that emu fad.Comment
