All the locations they use are the hippest spots in LA,
The characters are all loosely based off of REAL people
Vincent Chase is a real acting coach in LA that's where they got the name for the star who is supposed to be Mark Wahlberg-
Johnny Drama is a personal trainer to the stars in LA- and is loosely based off of Donny Wahlberg-
Turtle is allegedly Mark Wahlberg's buddy from back home who drops Mark's name everywhere in Hollywood and owes a bunch of bookies in LA money....
I have a friend who is friend's with the entire cast...
I wish the show would be an hour long vs these half hour teases...
I happen to think Ari is the best character developed since Hank Kingsley on the Larry Sanders Show...Hey Now!
