Right now I'm using Yahoo Music. $6.99 a month or $60 for a year. You can download to a portable player as long as it's a subscription-compatible player. Buring to a CD is 79¢ a song. It's free for a week so what can it hurt to try it out?
Napster is $10 a month $15 if you want to download it to a portable player.
I just like to listen to music on my computer and don't have any type of MP3 player so I like the suscription format.
I always pay for everything. Nothing stolen at all.
I mean, IF i did... i sure as hell wouldnt be posting to a board telling the WORLD that I was breaking the law. It's too easy to do a whois on the domains I own and POOF you have my contact info. Being from the US, copyright laws apply to me.
usenet is and will always be the #1 fastest source for anything mp3, movie or software related...and i always find anything I am looking for on there
and at 700kb/sec now, you can not beat it
Amen.
I tried the napster/itunes. I was impressed, but the fact that they deliver the songs at 128kbps quality is the reason I wont go with them. It's too low, I can hear the fucking distortion, anything below 160 pisses me off.
