Does anyone really think the comments were even read? It is campaign time right now, people are on campaign vacation, and all that jazz. I do not see them checking ye ol laptop for our concerns out on the campaign trail.Comment

2257 does not go in effect tomorrow. The ammendments haven't been decided on as to what will be added and what will not be added.
When the decision is made, sites will have 30 days to comply.Comment

Wrong - the comment period ends tomorrow. The DOJ will review the comments - then it will be 30 days from whenever the new 2257 regs are published in the Federal Register.Comment

It does NOT go in effect tomorrow....commenting from industry experts and companies will be made to the government....and then another month for decisions and responds from judges....and in my opinion, it wont pass....they havent even read the old docs....i just think its BS and election time...a lot of other violations will take in effect if model releases and id of talent is distributed to everyone especially with porn stars being stalked and even murdered. and i agree about the info being available to stalkers and etc.
