Originally posted by Sausage AVM, things don't sell for that much anymore. With so much uncertianty in the market expecting 20+ months revenue projection just isn't realistic.
It was realistic two days ago. Which, compelled me to post today.
Originally posted by AVM That is irrelevant. Mlifs.com, a piece of shit typo, with half the Ovt (and traffic) count as HotLatinas.com, sold for $25k. Meanwhile this hotlatinas.com domain, can be developed into one hell of a latina paysite. With built-in sign ups as is, without marketing.
If traffic and true generic/memorable/type-in latina domain doesn't interest enough - Then how about the simple fact, aside from all its benefits -- HotLatinas convert more sales with ND monthly, than that domain.

Since when? Since never.
The six months income rule generally applies to most website/domain sales like this, always has.
Monthly income x 6 months = net worth.... generally speaking.
I've found that two other rules also apply in this area......
1) If the seller can show convincing proof that the site is in fact worth more
or
2) if you can find someone who will pay your asking price.
There is no arguing with #2. Nine hundred people can think you're a retard for asking $100k for a domain.... but if one person pays you that amount then that's what counts.
Originally posted by AVM I'm not looking for anywhere near $100k.
I would sell for $35,000.00.
I dont think you're going to get that here. Best you can probably do is put it up at different auction sites and see if anyone ever offers you that much.
He's gotten people who are interested in paying that much most likely, they've asked to see stats and shit, and unlike some people here have taken it to private mediums.
I wouldnt be one bit surprised if he did get $35-$45k.
The domain is worth more than the already incoming traffic as is, because of its potential in differant avenues.

And in this case, if this domain name doesn't sell.
This thread accomplished at least one thing - a possible paysite partnership.
"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

Come on man, this isn't a TGP or a site you have to work on all the time. It just sits there and anyone would be a fool to offer 6 months revenue for it and expect him to sell.

Originally posted by SomeCreep So since you realize this, why wouldnt you be first in line to take advantage of this oppurtunity and buy it from him for $35k?
I've found when people pitch things for less than they are worth, there is a reason why its going out at that price and there is either misrepresentation or something else bogus.

Can I take a guess?
I'm sure KRL knows of a million different investments he could make for $35,000 that would return $70 per day and up. I'm also sure that he would rather focus his attention and money on other things aside from buying a porn domain in the current climate towards adult. If buying domains was my thing I would give 35k for that domain if what he's saying is true, but it's not so I won't.

Slav -- I never offered this domain to you. As I didn't even own it, a few months ago. Additionally, I paid five figures for this domain myself, thus, I highly doubt I would offer it to you at near cost.

50% ROI isn't exciting you're right.
I usually like investing 1 and doing back 5 to 10 x. Doing 1 and getting 2 is boring.

I'm trying to say, I don't sell domains at the 'cost' I purchased them at. Has nothing to do with your budget, it has to do with me preferring a thing known as - profit. That's the point of reselling domains, at least for me.
That is why I find it hard to believe I would buy a domain at $xx,xxx amount. Then a few days later email you, offering you the domain at the same price I bought it at. Thus, I refute your statement. And cannot recall any correspondance in regard to this domain.

When did you purchase this domain and was there a site associated with domain?
IMO the only place he is going to get anything close to 15k is here on this board. If he alienates himself he'll end up getting shit. That domain name isn't going to fetch much at auction or through a broker.

So shut up and buy it then.
Like I said, if he can get someone to pay what he's asking for it, that's the bottom line and is all that really matters.
