So here it is the 4th of July - America's big day and how does our friend Labret spend it - yes you guessed it, by dreaming of Canada and his life long ambition to become one of the enlightened - a true Canadian.
But of course he cannot let anyone know - he must hide his passion for Canada. He must feign disinterest, hatred and contempt - but we know the truth - every night before he goes to bed, Labret looks out his bedroom window and faces north across the Lake and sighs deep in his heart: "One day Canada, one day - I will be one of you, yes one of the glorious Canadians - the truley enlightened, the envy of the free world - one day I will be able to stand up straight and with love in my heart shout out proudly:
