What model accepts checks for a shoot anymore? I yet to see one that will accept a check unless you cash it right there.

Almost everyone pay by check.

We pay by check too, but we cash it right there for the talent. Most models do not want to accept a check anymore (at least thats our experience) , due to issues with bad checks.

i have paid by check for the last five years. everybody that i know here in the valley pay by check. some companies even run payroll and you miht not get paid until two weeks later..

Have the girl contact the DA's office. If every girl contacts the DA's office regarding these guys, with enough complaints criminal charges will be filed by DA for larceny.

In CA it is illegal to right bad checks after 1 complaint.

I did a shoot for sexalotnyc.com in NYC recently and the check they gave me was fraudulent. It looks like a seriously legit check. I'm not stupid. I usually always insist on cash, but this check looked legit and this one time I fucked up and didn't push for cash, I got burned.

I'm waiting for John to call me back about it, and then if not, I'm going to file a police report tomorrow.

What else can I do? What should I do? I'm really freaking out and I was counting on this money

From the looks of it, they do pay legitimately to some talent cause some talent have been around for awhile in LA.

Maybe they only pull it with NYC talent and not LA talent cause in California their asses would be in jail for passing bad checks.

Ive definitely heard a couple of stories about these guys... Autumn Rayne had a similar problem tried to take it to court, dont know how it turned out...

Wrong. If you look closely you will see that they are using the REAL names of the talent.

I know 4 girls, now 5 scammed by them.

Forgot to mention. After they TRIED to scam the last girl I contacted Adultstaffing.com, this is where they are getting the girls. They said they would check into it. This latest girl got contacted by them through Adultstaffing.com
If anyone that is affiliated with adultstaffing has balls enough to not let them advertise there it surely would help.
