i've never had real sushi. closest i can have come if the crappy shit they sell at the local supermarket.
there are a couple sushi bars near me, but damned if any of my friends would go eat there with me, and i wouldn't want to just walk into a place serving raw fish without knowing their reputation for cleanliness.
