And they're all pretty damn good. The downside I have more than enough of them to cover my tasking time for the rest of my life so the frustrating part is picking and choosing which ideas to develop next and putting some back on the shelf that will never get their chance to become something.

Maybe that sounds funny, but I wish I had more time in this life so I could develop them all.

To you guys that say you wish you had money for your ideas. If it is a good idea with a solid business plan and you have the skill sets to make them happen, and a few other important things, then money is not an issue. Money will find you when you are an idea man. That is a fact.

The key to raising money for your ideas is a combination of factors.

Most importantly is your enthusiasm. That is what investors are ultimately looking for from you. You have to be a shark salesman that can close the funding deal using mainly your passion for it.

Are you enthusiastic to the 110% degree about your idea?

Are you diligent and willing to work your ass off and never quit?

Do you have the experience, business knowledge, leadership abilities and marketing savvy to get the job done?

Are you trustworthy, always looking out for your partner's interests as well as your own?

Can you dance when challenges and obstacles appear?

Money guys are almost always very astute and they can spot a winner idea and a winner entrepreneur instantly.

I usually know with a couple minutes whether I'm going to do a deal with someone. Most times I don't even need to read their business plan even though I will. You can tell when someone knows their shit and when someone doesn't and is full of shit.

So cut the crap saying money is holding you back. All that is is you believing that's an obstacle. Kick that thought out the door where it belongs and just get to work putting together a killer biz plan that will knock the socks off your potential funders and get them excited as fuck where they are ready to creme in their pants.

Now I'll tell you the real secret to raising money for any venture. This is one of the most powerful secrets you will ever be told and absolutely must know and master if you want to get investment capital.

Put this on your wall and never forget it. It will work magic for you and get you all the money you need for any project.

      * * * * * Don't sell the deal. Sell the dream. * * * * *

You see wealthy people don't really need more money. What they are really looking for is fun, thrills and excitement in their lives. Having lots of money gets very boring after a while. It often gets very lonely when you have so much more than others and you get pushed into this elevated protected place called wealth.

Angel investors are risk takers. That's how they typically got their money. But once they have more than enough for the rest of their lives, many tend to take it easy and just want to be the funders of deals and not the operators. They lose the energy needed to do the day to day stuff and want young guys to drive the car for them so to speak.

But they miss the thrills. And that's what they are really buying when you pitch your deal. But its not the deal itself that will ultimately close them. It's the thrill of the risk. Its the gambling syndrome. They all have it. They get high giving up their money for a chance to lose it or a chance to win more.

As crazy and simplistic as that sounds. That's what it all boils down to.

They want the rush again. The thrill of getting in on something new and exciting. Not just for the money opportunities, but also to have something unique and cool to talk about with their golfing buddies and pals at the country club.

You have to have everything done right in the presentation of course. They aren't fools. But always, always, the key is to sell the sizzle and not just the steak. The dream is the rush of the win. The anxiety of waiting for the triple 7's to line up. Those few seconds when the dice roll onto to the table. When the Ace hits your King. The anticipation of getting a Royal Flush.

The dream, guys. Its all about selling the dream. Never forget this and always use this powerful tool.

And a couple more important things. Always think BIG! There is no difference going after a million dollars in capital funding or ten million dollars. All it is is another little zero. Always go for more than you will really need.

And remember its a numbers game. Network like crazy. Make a list of everyone with money you know. You'll often be amazed how many wealthy people you know when you think about it.

You have to present your deal to many prospects to find the one that will be your angel. But they are out there, and there are millions of them just waiting for someone to sell them something exciting to be a part of.

Good luck. You can do it! Anything is possible. Go for the gold! Its waiting for you!

I agree with your points, however don't think it applies to *ALL* cases....some dreams still require money, as in my example:

My dream right now is to 100% own my own bar/venue, without any partners, investors, bank loans or the like.

Right now, I have the money I need coming to me....in another 13 months or so when my contract is up

Thus in my case, money IS the element required

With $35k to $45k I could have a company with $100k+ in revenue every month and a high profit margin, within 3 months. I'll have the $35k myself within a month or two, not sure what I'm going to do with it though, might just put it in savings for retirement.

I agree. When I was all about ideas nothing ever got accomplished. I would sit around and say "man, if only I had $5k I could build this sweet site, but since I don't have it I guess I'll just sit around dreaming."

Then one day I decided to forget about the great ideas and put to work the basic tried and true principals that other people are using to make money. Things finally started to click. Now I actually have that investment money but have no desire to work those "great projects". What I have now is working much better.

Stop dreaming, start doing. Like Nike says, just do it.

Even with a great idea make sure you have enough money behind it, so some big company does not copy your idea and run with it

It's amazing how many don't waste time at shows :-) I used to go - but after a few, it gets boring and repetitive. I'd rather earn some money instead - ain't got the time for shows and listening to the same old shit. Tho met a few interesting people at shows.

On ideas... it's the same there. Ideas are 10 a penny. It is implementing them that takes time and energy and I ain't got enough of that - and too busy "implementing" some now.

And.. "living" a decent life in the middle of that is a good idea - it's not all about work and money

It may be easier to buy material - (also saves work!) - there is load around "hidden" in weird places. I think we got a load on masters of Euro hardcore content which I'm waiting for a price on - this is "pro" material used for TV screenings where the hardcore was shot as a side "benefit". Stuff like that can often work out far cheaper as long as all "rights" are in place.

                                                          Yup...

Not enough money to do them, well thats not entirelly true.
I spent 10,000 on some new equipment last month. Money is the brick wall though for the next leg which bring me to the next part.

If your curious I will be more than glad to show ya a quick demo and who else is involved. I am just a small part of it and a couple others have seen what I have in mind. Things are lookin good, but more people the better.

                                                            * * * * * Don't sell the deal. Sell the dream. * * * * *

Ok "something unique and cool" I HAVE IT! and just started feeling out potential investers. what I have is so unique one pay site would make more then 100 of other sites due to the interactivity and that nothing exsists of this yet !
