There once was a man who called himself king.
Didn't care about anything but impressing with the bling.
Talked about his "servants" behind their backs-
and how in a "far away land" was where devotion lacked.
Meanwhile in his mental kingdom, has my blood working for a tad.
Didn't take him to the "ball" cause then he'd see he's been had.
This poor mans queen had to leave the place -
Just couldn't stand to look a thief in the face.
It became hard to even sleep at night -
with the hum of the instrument and the numbers not so bright.
Its hard to have a clear conscience when you are living two lives-
The transparent facade and the one with the knife.
But he still believes that the monetary means so much more-
so he will continue to rob the blind so he doesn't get poor.
Its a sad sad day in this mans world.
