This is my 10K post - come win 100 Banners!

Wow, 10K already as Sarah_Webinc. I got my job with Webinc through a post under my old name on GFY. It is a fantastic job and I work with some of the best people in the industry (especially Todd) and so I though I would use my 10k post to give a little something back to the board.

So, Webinc is running a contest for GFYers and giving some stuff away.

First of all the prize: Pick from either 100 banner designs or 5 FPAs (one or the other)

Now the contest: Show us your tips! Well, being a woman on GFY a similar phrase isn't too uncommonly heard. So, we want the best traffic generation tips you can offer. They can be SEO tips or something else but make them good because this is a heck of a prize and the person with the best tips will win.

Check out our kick ass banner and FPA portfolios to see just what a great prize these

Deadline: This contest will run for one week. So, the last tip will be accepted on Sunday at midnight PST and I will declare the winner on Monday.

Dont fuck around with shitty designers. Go to the best (such as webinc.com) and have them make grade "A" sites that convert well. Use good traffic trading scripts as well as good thumbnail scripts if its a thumb TGP your making. Use the best so your not wasting your time. Choose high quality thumbs that are cropped nicely so you attract more clicks. Go to some of the bigger tgp sites and take a look at their top lists, those are the guys you want to trade with. Dont keep your auto trade signup open for any cheating scumbag to signup and hitbot you. Keep it closed and carefully choose who you trade with. Keep adding fresh high quality thumbs daily and your prod will constantly stay high....enjoy the rewards.

Look people:
If you want to get some heavy traffic going you got to icq the other webmasters and get some trades going. And that takes time and work. But at the end of the day you'll have more traffic.

this "tip" is old, but still works good:

when posting galleries, use numbers for directories
for example
domain.com/girl1/index.html

next time you submit don't use girl2 but girl14 or something, leaving a gap

the average horny surfer will try girl2, girl3 or whatever to see more, but they'll see your nice 404 page or get redirected somewhere

if you make it obvious enough, you'll be suprised how many surfers do that stuff

it works good with join for free kinda sponsors, email collecting or feeding your own site with some free traffic

it's just a small effort

Most people know how to get the big big traffic, here's some tips on getting those couple of extra clicks a day (you never know if that last sale of the day will be in the last 10 clicks)

1. If you submit galleries, create yourself a fake TGP with FHG's etc. Then place a recips to your TGP along side the other recips on your galleries. If you going to leak traffic through recips you may as well leak some to your self

2. Blogs are damn easy to set up with server side scripts and SE's love them, I've found that a few old main stream blog type project that I worked on a year or so or go are getting about 50hits/day from SE's with out me having touched them for over a year.

3. When submiting galleries don't be lazy and forget to put in the title, meta tags and image alt tabs, I've seem some galleries pick up hits for the oddest of search terms 1/2 years later down the line.

4. most of the time spent waving your cock around on boards could probably be better spent creating an extra gallery/free site/sale a week

For webmaster traffic:

5. People are more likely to click your sig if you are:

a) respected
b) have tits.

Since Sarah?s rules don?t specify whether the point is to generate quantity or quality traffic, I?m gonna go with the quality aspect, and how to convert it.
Nifty little traffic scheme:

In your amateur site member area, run a decent refresh cam- webcam 32 is fine, with the image changing every 15 seconds.
Of course as an amateur, you do camshows, right? Use the page with the feed to entice members to join you on ifriends for personal attention. He?s already a fan, so bring him to another venue to spend more money.

In your free area, run the same refresh cam, but with a 30 second refresh. Fast enough to get their attention, but slow enough to be frustrating and leave them wanting more ;-) Mention that if they join your site, they can watch you absolutely free in your member area. A guy who is used to paying $5 or $6 /minute will happily hand over $20/month.

Next, log into ifriends as a chathost. Hell- this will even work as a replay feed over there. Offer free phone to your viewers, as this is an amazing tool. Offering it justifies a price increase of an easy $1/minute. While you?re moaning & groaning on the phone with the fan, mention that he can see your shows free on your website, and send him to the domain. Ifriends traffic is better than aol traffic, and they are just looking for you to lead them.

Not only is this a great way to bring awesome quality traffic to your amateur site, but you can also circulate it back to the cam site, in hopes of selling to the same surfer a second time!

The easiest way for anyone to get more webmaster traffic is to write an article or two.

Most resource sites, mine included, will give you a link at the bottom or top of the article and if you write regularly on a specific subject you will not only brand your company but also you will start becoming known as an 'expert' in your field

Don't share your tips with other webmasters. Regardless of whether they are friendly on the boards or not, you are competing for the same traffic. Lie and mislead whenever possible to throw off the competition.

go to yahoo groups and sign up for multiple accounts, with each account being for a specific niche. after assigning which niche goes to each nick, join groups, tons of then...but make sure and keep the nick and niches organized, and always only join groups that aren't moderated...

join about 100 groups for each nick you have...that is 100 groups per niche/nick

go download dada mail....and start a mailing list for each nick you have on yahoo groups...then add the email addresses for the groups under each cooresponding mailing list

so if you have the nick fredquimby89898 as the yahoo nick, and the niche is amateur, start a mailing list that has Fred Quimby as the name of the list and put all the amateur groups emails in that mailing list

so, now you have bunches of mailing lists, with about 100 gorups email addresses in them, and each email address sends to a group and each group has over 3000 or so members....starting to get the idea? dada will only send 1 email at a time too, so you don't have to worry about sending to multiple groups at once

when you send emails, make sure they are done in html format with the affiliate links hidden.....

wording your messages is VERY tricky, most yahoo members have seen it all, so play with it a bit and do it one at a time so you can see what is effective..

some days you will make 2 sales, and some days you can make 10 sales....it is all a game of chance, but once you get it down pat you will almost always be guaranteed sales...
