I figured this shit was popular in shit hole states like iowa or illionois, but not in Los Angeles! We're all to fucking self-centered to give a shit about what our neighbors do.

I don't even think these are the same neighbors that were here when we moved here, I think some of them have moved and new people moved in. FUCK!

The only time I EVER saw one of my neighbors was last night when a police chase ran thru my street and the neighbor accross the street and one house up came out. I didn't even know it was dude that lived there.

It started an hour ago and still no one is even outside!

I wonder who put all this shit together. Dammned if I'm gonna go out there and find out! How the FUCK am I supposed to get to Taco Bell now?? I can't even back my car out of my driveway.

I'd just move all the shit out of the way and drive out.. what do they have a couple saw horses blocking off the street?

Granted, I haven't met but 2 of my neighbors, but I see them outside from time to time when I peak thru my blinds. I sometimes check to see if anyone is outside before I dash out to the car. If I see a neighbor I usually wait for them to go back inside.

However, I have never seen a hot chick on my street. Remember, this is North Hollywood. N. Hollywood is more famous for it's bank shootings, than hot chicks.

I think the point of block parties is to MEET your neighbors

We have a party every month or so in our clubhouse and since my subdivision is on a mountain with windy twisty roads, this is the best way to meet people. And even though WE'RE in GA, we don't have a DJ who plays country music

If you've been there 2 years and this is the first time they've had one, it doesn't seem like they have them often.

Get out and meet your neighbors!!

If it were me, I'd be moving whatever was blocking my driveway. And if it were someone's vehicle blocking my driveway, there would be a tow truck on the way to move it. Fuck the neighbors. I dont cause them inconveniances and I damn sure wont let them get away with causing me an inconveniance.

Ok, so we're not in Georgia. We're in NoHo. We went out (after it had been going on for a couple of hours. And... as it turns out. I have pretty cool neighbors. They were all very friendly, and everyone appeared to get along.

They had a watermelon eating contest and the tinest smallest girl won, beating the two fat slob kids. I was amazed, I thought the one of those little fatties was gonna win for sure.

Our little girl managed to eat a little bit of the cotton candy that she got all over her face and hair. She is amped up right now, like a crack addict on payday.

Apparently they've been doing it for 4 years and it's a hood party so they invite people from like 3 or 4 streets over in both directions. Just turns out that this year they had it on our block.

As for Sly_RJ... You live in IOWA?!?! BWWHAHAHAHAAAA!!! Shit man I never met ANYONE from Iowa before. huh. I guess, you learn something new everyday. Too bad I hate people from Iowa.

Hey.. Cayne. I do have a house! We lived in an apartment complex for the 8 years and we NEVER EVER met any of our neighbors. What's the point? They were probably all assholes anyway.

They happen every onece in a while. Always alot of beer. Most get broken up by the cops though. To many fights.

We have an annual summer party on my block but all of my neighbors are above 50 and they all go to sleep by midnight or earlier.
