Shared hosting accounts are setup the same business day. After you sign up you will receive your welcome email. Once you receive the welcome email please forward it to support with a list of domains, POP accounts, databases and/or any other requests you might have for your initial setup. Shared hosting accounts are just that. You share a server with other customers and we control/maintain the machine. We will only issue shared hosting customers temporary SSH access when scripts need to be installed.

Shared hosting accounts do not include a backup. We strongly urge you to keep a local backup of your data.

Am I limited on my Shared Hosting account in terms of CPU usage or anything hardware related to performance?
If you purchase the bandwidth only plans then no, there are no restrictions on the bandwidth you purchase and we do not throttle accounts. Everything is fully burstable at maximum performance.
If you purchased a plan "as-is", with MySQL, PHP,& CGI access then yes, there are some limitations.
Generally scripts that process tens/hundreds of thousands of hits per day that are not written properly will cause a problem.
Scripts as mentioned above written in C usually do not cause any problems. So you are free to use such scripts.
Scripts as mentioned above written in PHP/MySQL usually do cause a problem. Please contact us and let us know the name of the software/script you would like to use and we'll let you know if there is a problem with it.
If you do have a site that is processing tens/hundreds of thousands of hits per day we suggest purchasing a dedicated server from us.

In most cases no. Most script writers offer free installation service. If not free, for a small fee. They are also highly qualified to make your scripts/software function properly.

We do not offer a shared hosting account control panel. Most of these control panels simply give you the ability to add email addresses, MySQL databases and other simple tasks.
We find, in most cases that such control panels will only bog down the server and chew up system resources when customers are using it.
We will handle all of your account management issues such as updating email addresses, databases and everything else.
