Canadian exports only account for a little over 20% of US domestic consumption (only? heh).

If you want to talk real numbers, last time I checked Canada was shipping over 80% of all the natural gas imported by the US. If you're heating a home or running a car on natural gas, chances are good it's fuel from Canada.
