But most people who have big money don't live in Hawaii all the time. They go there maybe a month a year tops. Most of the big money people (we're talking $15 million plus homes) in Hawaii are Japanese families that go to Hawaii for a week or so every now and then to go golfing and stock up on the latest Louis Vuitton handbags. Comparing Hawaii to Malibu is comparing two very different places in my opinion.
