    $7500 for a plant tree.

For my sister's 50th Birthday present. Makes me chill.

PS Not the same art, but close.

You would need to know how much I care for her.

So your buying her an aged Japanese maple bonsai tree?

Glad to see you care for her so much. Hope you know the responsibility is about the same as gifting someone with a pet.

Why are you coming up with such a relpy? The purchase comes with tools, support, books ,CDs, 800 # 's to help. Loving her for 44 years I know her responcibility level. She was smart enough to be retired and looking great at 50.

Plus she has pets. One of them being one of my Cuba's litter.

Was not trying to be harsh or anything. Just a small fore warning that they indeed are like getting someone a pet. Hell the few I have been working with that are not even "real" but just starters have been hellish at times and I lost two during the first 3 years.

I do think that is a cool gift for someone, specially if they have the responsibility, patience, and desire to take care of it. I also would figure you know your sister very well so you prolly did not make a mistake.

If I ever won that gift, and I was told the price it cost, I'd be disappointed.

              I'm just a newbie.
