I don't mind a kit car if it is done right, meaning if it is a real good body kit, built on a tubular steel frame, with a 450+ hp northstar engine. But I think its pathetic when people try to pass one off as the real thing. You see not all people build kit cars so they can trick girls into believing they have Ferrari's. For someone who is not loaded, a kit car is a good way to get a sweet looking ride for 1/4 the cost, not to mention the fact that a good kit car (not based on a Fierro body) can still go 160+ MPH
