Why ??? We received only about 20 submissions for that category last year.. It appears that Shes' Huge (from the judges POV) was the best in the sites that were submited...

Female Model of the Year : Martina Warren Penthouse pet at 18 and now the current Penthouse Pet of the Year at 21.

Martina works very hard doing promotions all over the country which include signings at events, photoshoots and radio interviews ect.


In between all of the above work, Martina also works on her site, updatting it and modeling for it, also she does post on GFY

why no toy company awards or shit like that?

1- because there is not enough toys companies involved in "our side" of the biz..

2- because BAA is About WEBSITES.. not companies

3- because we had to par down category listing form the 35 categories fo last year...

A : When I say 'our side" I mean that most of toys companies are more involved on the street market side.. Just to see how many much more companies are present at the AVN show but not at the internext...

A : I do understand, but last year we had 35 categories and we were a bit rushed... This year the Awars night will be more easy to manage with only 18 categories... With the Opening Act, the "congrats and Thanks to/from winners", breaks, etc.. Too much categories means a very long night.. If we have to bring back some more categories, we'll have to bring some who were there last year before...

Runing an Awards Show like the Best Adult Awards is something not that easy... Just ask the ones whoe were there last year

BTW Each categories cost a lot of money and so far I am payin it all from my own pocket ..

Evennthe AVN Awards with their 3M$ budget don't have this category... So give me a break man (no hard feelings)

You know just like last year, we are going to submit our sites at the last minute and the judges are going to put off judging until the last night before deadline and burn out both eyeballs going to site after site for judging purposes (of course, why else would WE go to porn sites... ahem).

you're so right Greg, and we "ALMOST" all know how much judges work very hard to do their judging job among other things they have to do, especially in the summer time...


Unfortunatelly, there are too many people out there who obviously :

- Haven't read the Best Adult Awards official site. So they don't even know what they are talking about... Many still think that BAA is about companies and confuse us with what the XBiz Awards are doing (A Best Companies Awards)...

- Simply doesn't realize that an Awards Ceremony can't last 8 hours... That's why we have to par down the categories listing

- Don't have a single clue about what doing the Best Adult Awards ceremony involves in terms of work, time, dedication and also money...

- Have NEVER done something constructive for this industry and come here to simply whine about this and that.....

- Will never be happy, whetever we do or trying to do...



I do seriously wonder why the "Other Side" of the Adult industry (Video/Avn) can have an Awards night (AVN Awards) without all the drama, and on "our side" we can't do this... Would it be because the "Other side" people are just more "ADULT".....
