now granted everyone here can say they would do this or that, but when the choice is presented to you im sure your tune would change.
and of course we all say we would lie and give false info. but in the end your legal council will tell you to tell the truth. its a legal matter not a personal matter, this is business and its dog eat dog.
im sure his affiliates were paid if there was money due. but now there is money due to MS(if a court sees fit) and that money by all means ought to come out of the persons pocket that did whatever it is that MS is suing about.
dont get me wrong, i dont agree with hooper on many of his business practices. nor will i defend him as i am sure he is quite capable. i am just trying to put it into perspective for some of you.Comment

Take a hint, the new laws hold program owners responsible for this type of shit flowing through their system whether they knew about it or not. If the case is real I don't think any sponsor would do otherwise in a similar case. Not trying to justify it, but stating the obvious. The only exceptions I can see would be some of the very top sponsors that would balance the cost of taking the heat by themselves and the cost of losing a large # of their affiliates and proceed accordingly. In this industry nobody will sacrifice himself if he can avoid in one way or another.Comment

LOL , but if the ftc came to me and said one of my affiliates with this url or whatever was breaking the law and I better give them info or my corp. would be sued, etc, I would speak to my counsel and if they said give the info, fuck yeh I would give the info.

Has anyone READ what Hooper posted? Are you saying you would refuse to give information a federal subpoena ordered you to give?
I didn't go to law school so I let lawyers tell me what to do and not to do in reference to legal items. I suspect Hooper is doing the same.
And if someone can find one person the FTC has sent to jail, I'll be impressed
