Even if the "torturing the athletes if they lose" stories are true,*
it says something prfound that these players would rather risk
being tortured than see bombs dropping all around them.
Tens of thousands of innocents dead
- no discrimination between soldier/civilian, women and children
- cities contaminated with radiation poisoning that lasts forever.
Oh, but Saddam used gas when the Kurds tried to start a civil war
...so anything the US does there is justified. (huh?)
*and yes, I now suspect a lot of the reports fed to the media by our government
and collaborators who opposed Saddam may have been exagerated.
Saddam was definately a brutal fucker,
but he was a brutal fucker who fought against radical Islam his whole life.
(you know, the types who attacked us on 9/11)
It would have been better for the USA's War On Terror
(aka War On Fundamentalist Islamic Jihadists)
for secular Saddam to still be sitting there in his palace as an
obstacle to the clerics and theocracies they would create.
I don't see what the big deal is. Since America really wants "westernize" the Arab world and "Free Iraq", it should at least respect their freedom of speech, since that is one of the principles of American freedom, right?
If Bush used the likeness/images of other individuals in America without their permission in order to promote his campaign, they probably would have sued...
if i was Bush i'd line up have of you jackasses in this thread and shoot you on whitehouse soccer field
there is no whitehouse soccer field? fuck it the lawn will do
And journalists for some reason seem to just accept this. E.g. I recently saw him being interviewed by Larry King, and when Bush's answers were weak, he just moved on without questioning his answer and asking him what he really meant by that.
That would never happen in Europe for sure!

There are some movies available on the net of women being shot from behind in their neck and others get their hands cut off etc. in that stadion.
Smoke some more pot, dutchie. That was in Kabul...
