Snakes are amazing animals.I used to have a couple of boas myself (same as in the picture,only much smaller). It was amazing seeing the way it opened its jaws to swallow its prey...
In the end I felt sorry for the little mice (yeah I`m a softie) I had to feed them and gave it to a friend of mine who had a bunch of other species including a big albino boa.Beautiful animal...

They are amazing animals but also very scary animals. I met one in my bedroom in the Thai jungle on a lake, not sure what kind it was but all I knew it scared me to death finding such a thing in the middle when entering the room. I think he was close to a 1 meter big, light brown skin and it was in a attacking position, so i closed my door and got my guide by the time we arrived he was gone already, maybe he scared as much me. Couldn't sleep all night

Hehehe yeah they can be scary if you meet them like that...I once had a close encounter with a poisonous snake while playing with some friends around a hill. I narrowly missed stepping on it. It squared up and I just froze.Then it just quickly turned around left.I think it was scared, but not as much as me I can tell you that....

Nothing much we can do in such moments then just hope for the best or try to get away but I sure hope i will never meet one again in wild again. I'm glad it didn't hurt you sometimes I watch Animal Planet ''The Crocodile Hunter'' and he tells freaky stories about people dying of a bite in about 30 minutes

I've had a 4 foot Boa constrict around my neck one time when I was holding it and it was a mother fucker getting out of its grip. I couldn't imagine getting grabbed by a monster like that. It has to be at least 25 feet!

I'm going to have nightmares tonight.
