    Question for casino/poker buffs...

I'm looking at buying a fairly large chip set for some small tournament play.

Is there a noticeable difference between 11.5 g chips and 13.5 g chips? I just found what seems to be a good deal on a large 11.5 g chip set, but if they are crap chips I will just pass.

I actually have a few sets of each and there is not really much difference especially since you wont have both at the same time to compare. Go for the good deal you found is my 2 cents.

There's a lot of things that go into the quality of chips besides weight.

If they're the same chips - just different weight, then go with the deal, I think... it's noticeable, but not _that_ noticeable... as was already said: especially if not side-by-side.
