For awhile we "were" going to attend until I found out the hotel was on lockdown.
Talent aside, due to my dissability I am unable to travel without a companion. So that would of been an extra 300.00 just so I could attend.
Then we had planed on bringing 3-4 girls with us, extra 900-1200.00 ontop of rooms, food, airfair.

So badge cost alone would of been 7-8 people (2100.00 to 2400.00) when only 2 people would be doing any networking. We could not justify spending 1050.00 to 1200.00 per actual networker just in badge value.

Basic breakdown would of been: (assume 7 people)
Airfair: 3100.00 (approx).
Food/drinks:4000.00 (approx).
Hotel: 5400.00 (approx).
Badges: 2100.00
Base total: 14,600.00 (zero listed for spending money, cabs, and so on).

I like shows and all but spending that is just not justifiable.
