    Al-Sadr lies again, why is Bush OK with him killing Americans?

    Turns out the truce declared yesterday turned out to be a lie to buy more time and now Al-Sadr is rejecting the Iraqi offer which would have basically provided amnesty and brought him into the government. I posted yesterday that if they let him go he will just set up battleshop somewhere else, as he's done before.

    This is the cleric who has vowed to kill Americans, has a following willing to help him, and has been holed up conducting battle in what is considered the country's holiest shrine.

    George Bush, who has turned his attention primarily to the election says it's up to Iraq if they want to embrace him into the government. Apparently it is OK to kill Americans if the new government embraces you.

                                                              Actually the US is the one in control. Many Iraqi politicians quit because of the US offensive on Najaf.

                                                                          First off, Al-Jazeera has been banned in Iraq and journalists are no longer allowed in Najaf until the situation with Al-Sadr is over.

                                                                              I'm not sure why you look like you're surprised by this whole thing. Afterall, this is the same guy who freed Al-Qaeda terrorists to get Saudi Arabia's support for the Iraq war.
