what percentage of buisness done in this industry do you think 'coolness' plays into doing buisness with someone? Comming from a mainstream marketing position I am simply appalled at how many people will relate how someone seems 'cool' on the boards and therefore will attempt to do buisness with people.I know there are the old timers who see clearly through the bullshit and people who promise thousands of joins as soon as they get home from conferences

I feel the same way about what you are saying. I have met many people who I thought would benefit our company at conferences. As the weeks passed they turned into nothing more then just an addittion to my icq list and a waste of breath. -

All the talk dont count for shit in my book - I want results ! - and profit :-)
I often work with (and look for) new partners found on this board and others like ... 98% of the time the people that answer my posts and requests are worthless morons trying to eiterh scam or act like a big shot... wast of my timeComment
