    Anyone here ever start a non-profit org?

      Getting the 501-C3 is a BITCH! It is well worth hiring an accountant and a legal person to help you with it all!

                  There is a book of requirements that you must meet. The documentation must meet their specific set-up/format requirements...worse than when I was in the USAF!

                      baddog, it's not that hard. Do it in Vegas. But you still need to have the board of members together.

                              Don't know the laws there, but it shouldn't be that difficult. Set one up in Georgia once and it was a breeze.

                                  Since it is Federal, not really sure why one state would differ from another. Can you explain please?
