Those aol cd's you get every 2 months make damn fine coasters.. they time it perfectly too, once the one you have is getting pretty nasty, they mail you a brand new one.

neatly folded paper towel, i always have a big glass of ice water nearby.
i refill my glass 2-3 times per day and swap out my soggy paper towel for fresh one.
used to use normal style coasters but the condensation would puddle and i would drip ice cold water into my lap whenever i took a drink, paper towel soaks it up.Comment

i keep a gallon jug of water handy. I do use empty envelopes for scratch paper..phone numbers, e-mail addresses , grocery lists, thinkgs to do lists...now I have hundreds of empty envelopes around with something important on each one of them..
my favorite ones seem to be my ifriends checks.. i get a new one each week
