ccbill ..any better options? i.e merchant account

    What to try next

CCbill only seem to accept around 50% of transactions that are submitted. Today is on 22%.

This is a bit low really, what other 3rd party billers are any good? and is 12-18k anywhere near enough to get my own merchant account? I'm sure it could be nearer 25k pm if i could get more transactions accepted.

I asked netbilling a while back about getting a merchant bank set up but i think i needed like 50k pm at least as it's not a US based company.

Also is 16% about the amount you expect to pay for processing anywhere ?

I looked at the verotel pro option and could not really see if it was cheaper for 19.99pm memberships being as there is quite a few extra costs involved.

ccbill did seem to be the best of the 3rd party billers but are there any other options out there that may be better?

    thanks

We've got an aggregator solution for lower volume adult accounts, minumum monthly processing is 5k.
Rates at 10%, $.75 transaction fee.
We can get an account setup and ready to plug into our API almost instantly.
Hit me up on ICQ if you're interested and I can shoot you our pre-application.

edit: also, if you started doing more volume, say around 25K and up, you could move into your own account and bring your rates down even further.

Hi there Matto thanks for the replies

Is that 10% +75c for the merchant account and card processing or will i need processing like netbilling also, and for 25k + per month what are the rates for the larger individual accounts? does it depend on chargebacks and refunds. With ccbill i have 0.1% chargebacks and 0.2% refunds but i guess this is due to the tight security and high rejections it will probably increase as i lower the scrub rate.

And a hello and question to Mitch ..netbilling seems to have a great reputation but is it still 50k to get a merchant account for non US companies or is it a bit less now these days?

longdong, well paycom seems to convert around 45%, our merchant account under netbilling converts around 70%-75%, jettis, seems to convert pretty well around 60%, oxbill sucks they turn their shit off when they don't get paid from the merchant provider so don't go there. Ecash too expensive, but they handle casino stuff rather well. Ibill, been a long time since I used them so I don't want to give you some outdated info. Wirecard overseas converts pretty high around 70%. I hope that has helped yah out, only problem with merchant accounts, is you have to keep a very close eye on your chargeback percentage, and I have it running thru two scrubs

                Hi NiteRain

thanks for the reply that's been quite a help indeed...i often wondered what % the other 3rd parties ran at.

Looking at the wirecard now...looks pretty good.

                thanks

                  Hi,

We should be able to place you through a shared account if you are under 50k per month. If you want to email me your needs and contact info, I will have sales look into the options for you tomorrow. The merchant account and Netbilling gateway will be needed but we can surely set you up for less than 10% which is what is stated that Wirecard is charging above, correct?

                  Thank you, Mitch Farber

We also convert very high through Netbilling and CCbill.
