This highlights the trouble with outsourcing.
My former partner was filipino, lived here in Vegas and had a shop down in the Philippines in Angeles City. It was a short lived experiment that lasted about 6 months.
While the quality of the work could be outstanding, copyright theft was always a concern, and a couple of times we caught it before it hit the client's eyes.
Heads would roll. We went through a number of managers in a short amount of time, but for some reason they just didn't seem to care..they were so far away I guess they felt untouchable.
I hate to denigrate an entire population or race, but at this point in my life I would not trust another project to be outsourced to the Philippines. It was just way too much of a hassle, and never worth the so called "savings," in cost.
It cost us way much more to have to micro manage every fucking detail. Good luck with outsourcing for those of you who decide to do it.
