    Lens - please stop the sound banners.

    it's really getting old.

    it's getting to point where we have to ask - who do you care about - the few extra pennies you get from the advertisers who want sound banners or the users of GFY who make gfy what it is and bring you the revenue in the first place.

    it's getting to be a matter of respect.....

    please stop taking sound banners if you have ANY respect for us GFY users.

      We have requested this many, many times. Same with annoying flash banners. Nobody cared.

      The result: I STILL surf with Flash disabled, meaning... I see less than 10% of the banners on GFY.

                  I have to agree 100% here.

                  This Hustler banner has been by far the words. I will be turning off my Flash very quickly as well.

                  At very least, make a rule that the sound has to stop on mouse out.

                              I don't mind flash, though it does slow the board load time down considerably, but the sound is REALLY annoying.

                                      Tip for advertisers: use standard, non-Flash banners. Many of us have Flash disabled. And to be honest, now I actually DO notice the ads that I can still see.

                                                                      I have never had them start playing automatically but at the same time I have acidentally rolled over the banner sometimes with my volume loud. It sounded as if I was shooting a porn movie in my office.
