How Many Joins/Day Does it Take to be Considered a Whale?
As the title says, how many joins per day does it take for a webmaster to be considered a whale for your program? Just curious on everyone's thought on this.

I would say 10 now and days thats 300 a month noth bad
15 a day puts you in the top 10% of every sponsor I've ever seen stats on in terms of being an affiliate.
For example, at TCG, doing 15 signups a day will have you ranked around 30-35 out of thier entire list of affiliates who have sent at least one signup in their time with TCG.
For a paysite, I would think being a whale would mean much higher numbers, something on the order of 50-100+ signups per day.
If you push 100+ signups a day to all the programs your promoting (paid signups, no free aff profiles for example) I consider you to be a whale for sure
but a lot of affprograms are getting a lot nicer once you send them 10-15 sales a day

when I was sending tcg ~15 sales a day I was not ranked in the 30s

Do you mean to a single site/program or to all programs combined having a total of 50-100? I was referring to a single program in my original question.

I would think it would depend on how you're looking at your sales for the day. Weather you're sending sales to just one site, or the total sales you made that day across numerous sites and programs.
Some companies react differently. You're a dime a dozen with TCG for example even at 70+ weekly, while a few companies treat you like whales even if you're just getting started with them. MrSkin for example, Derek is great. Xpays is another example. I'd get email from Evan all the time.

I'm mostly interested to see what a sponsor would consider a whale to their respective programs.

before running my own program, i used to pull about 60-90 trial sales per day on my own with ONLY paid TGP listings...
I considered myself a whale.
Now that I own a program, I look at other affiliates and notice people like myself are very rare. I love the affiliates that push 20+ sales per day each and consider them all whales now.
With TopBucks - to get the bump from $ 35.00 to $ 40.00 you have to have 150 signups per period (approximately10 signups a day) on average. If you can bring over 350+ (approx. 24 signups a day) on average, that bumps you up higher. Anyone doing 350 per period is a VIP with us. If any of you are personally doing 10+ daily sales consistantly with one program (could be one site or a combination of sites), consider yourselves whales and more.
Used to average 12 to 16 a day. But I dont think that I would call myself a sea animal
Yeah 1999/2000 kicked ass, I miss those days

These days anyone sending 1 sale a day consitently should be considered a whale by programs, time are getting hard and webmasters are getting lazier and lazier by the day.
We send several programs over 100 sales a period and get treated the same as affiliates who send 1 sale a period.
Special treatment is of course nice but, at the same time, all i care about are the checks and wires that get deposited
My extreme amateur program is very small (only one site) and we have two affiliates that send 5-10 sales per day, so for us they are whales. We then have maybe 20 affiliates that send on average less than 1 sale per day.
back when deluxe pass didnt suck I was doing 20-30 a day and I was only a mid level affiliate.
I would consider anyone doing over 20 a whale to one sponsor. But whales now a days arent like the whales of yesteryear. Few years ago it wasnt uncommon to see single affiliates doing 50-100 a day on their own. Heck, give me 20 affiliates doing that kind of volume i'd blow a goat.

Most programs don't even do 100 sales a day, let alone single webmasters... If they're out there im sure they're busy working and not bragging about their sales stats on GFY.
