What do you guys talk about with non-industry peoples??

Ok so i do have quite a few friends and they know i work in the adult industry editing and what not and we have completely normal conversations about life blah blah blah and non porn things. BUT when i meet new people i freeze up and have no idea what to talk about besides porn, beer, aqua teen hunger force and chicks LOL ..... Do you guys ever face this problem? LOL (yes i am a girl btw)

I had the same situation last weekend. Went to Vegas with my girl, and met her conservative friend and her bf. Found plenty to talk about, but they seemed to get very squeamish like most people do when I mentioned my work.

What I mean is, what I do for a living doesn't define my persona. I'm not implying anything about you with that statement.

When I am just hanging out usually the last thing on my mind is shemales, hairy girls, panties, nude teen girls, etc.

Instead I am usually thinking about anal creampies, female ejaculation, and fisting. That makes things easier when dealing with people who don't know me.

depends, I usually say I shoot 'nudes or glamor nudes' if I think they are assholes I say I shoot 'sex' mostly the only people I meet are industry folks or service people, i.e. people waiting on my table or servicing my car so I generally get call 'sir' and it doesn't matter what I do. other than that I would have no idea about meeting people and talking to them.

where in the heck are you meeting new people that ya have to chat with?

not like that at all . . . all I do is work, I talk with photographers all the time but only about photography. other than that I chat with agents and models and clients about work, which in my case is porn. so should I drink beer with a bunch a guys at the pizza place and talk about sports or some kinda stuff? don't watch TV or read the paper or anything like that . . . when I'm not working I hang with my family . . . don't really run the streets looking to meet weirdos and start interesting fact filled conversations . .

i was actually just talking to one of my non industry friends the other day about how odd our conversations usually are. we were sitting in a bar, getting hammered, and i looked around and asked him "how many other people you think are talking about Vallende and Pinochet tonight?"

i prefer talking about interesting things, the same old chicks, drugs and weather conversations get tired real fast.

then again my concept of interesting is opposite most people's.
