Yeah, it sucks. Seems like I've been cursed for the past few months. I work my tail off from the moment I get up until the moment I go to bed, I've only had one day off in 3 months, my kids are starting to wonder who I am because I get to spend so little time with them, I've been diagnosed with something that I can't afford treatment for, and I just can't seem to win for losing. I was raised to believe that if you worked smart and you worked hard that your dreams would come true someday. Well, either my "someday" hasn't come yet or the "American Dream" is a big, fat load of donkey doo doo.

the american dream is fucking bullshit, welcome to reality.

work hard and in due time, you will be rewarded

              Often times I wonder why
There's love and hate, theres live or die.
When sickness comes I must decide:
              When feelings go, theres suicide.

                Thanks, Manny

I've been working hard and keeping my spirits up through this massive rush of bad luck for a long time, but now that I know that my life is at stake, it just seems like a bit too much to handle. I wish I had medical insurance. Too late now.

Your dreams are coming, but before they get here, you need to plan something out and put down the work for a weekend or so. Maybe even a week, and take your kids out to some place nice, an amusement park, somewhere that it would be just you and them. Don't let work get between you and your kids that much. I am sure your clients will understand this.

                  Just a suggestion tootie.

I'd love to do that. It would be fantastic just to take one whole day off to spend with my kids. They've been begging me to take them to the zoo all summer. But unfortunately I *literally* have someone screaming bloody murder at me for money every single day of the week. I can't get a break. Not even for one day. I wake up every morning and the first thing I do is say, "Please, if there is any form of a God out there, if you have any love for me at all, just let me have one day off." Then I go to the mailbox and there is someone else having a complete and utter fit at me to pay them "now, now, now, or else!" It's enough to drive one over the deep end. So I have to keep working because every day I don't is another bill I can't pay.

Wow, once you get behind it seems almost impossible to get caught up. LOL

And I don't think the utility companies are going to care one iota what I have or have not been diagnosed with or that my kids are starting to slip up and call the nanny "mom".

Thank you B40. I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow.

I just had an extra rough day today and it made it a little harder to deal with everything than usual.

I got a $4000 check in just under 2 weeks ago and all it did was catch me up from the bullshit I was hit with over the last few months.

Some people just get into many things and it is hard to get out of. I am sure that is a lot of money, if an average american does not make that much a year, but having so many people to take care of, and house to maintain, bills, or if you were already in debt. All you can do is just watch all that money fade.
