I'm sure I made no metion of defending any statements in the post you referred to. I did however make a reference to people trying to defend their own stupidity that was shown in the original post in a thread.
This is getting a tad boring and repetitive anyway. I'll try to keep all future posts in this thread far more flippant as is fitting.
